Yesterday I posted a blog regarding the injustice that occurred with a fellow Rennie, Lord Anthony, and his dealings with Leilani Shelton, of Pensacola, Florida.  Her picture is below.

What really gets me is this Woman took his $200 in good faith and did not deliver the contracted product/service to him.  She has now ignored all of his attempts at communication, even changing her phone number.

This can happen to ANY of you.  What we do now, as Rennies, is all up to each and every one of you.  Will he ever get his money back?  Who's to say.  What we can do, as Rennies, is to stand together and get his story out to everyone you know.  Do you want this to happen to a friend of yours?  Should she be allowed to continue her dishonesty and take more people's money without delivering the contracted products/services?  Do you stand idly by and let this happen?

Please, please post his story on every board you can think of.  She is also a member on Covenspace and a Group called Meet.

It's not asking too much in supporting a fellow Rennie.  Can you live with yourself knowing that this injustice has occurred and not doing anything about it?

This is Leilani, the Woman from Pensacola, Florida that took $200 from a friend and did not deliver the goods, as contracted.  What Leilani did was wrong...there are no excuses.  How can anyone live with themselves, after what she did, I just can't imagine.

I paid her to make me a leather suede vest, like in the movie "eragon" (Broms character/ Jeremy Irons) and I paid her  200.00 bucks in May of 2007. She however, lives in pensacola Florida, and I paid her with a money order, seeing she did not accept personal checks, I spoke to her on the phone many times before we made the deal and emailed her many times, she even spoke to my mom on the phone one time when my mom was over at my house.

I thought I could trust her, she is one of my myspace friends, she was going to make the vest and sleeves and I was supposed to give her 2 hundred more after completion of vest.  She gave me a long, long list of excuses and that she was sick and this went on and on and on, and one day when I spoke to her she emailed me and told me the vest was completed and that she mailed it to me and then I waited and months went by, I kept trying to call her and when I finally got a hold of her, she stated that she would make me another one...

I told her she was being dishonest and asked her for a mailing tracking number and she stated that she didn't mail it that way... I told her forget it and to just refund my money, she agreed and said she would, but I never got my money back. and now she has changed her phone number and she won't answer or even half the time read my myspace emails asking her to make this right...

I don't even know how I would take her to small claims... I only have her address and I can't really prove that I paid her... I guess, I'm dumb and too trusting, how would I take her to court, I only have a couple of emails from her asking for measurements, it's her word against mine right?
I wonder if I could take her to court remotely without having to fly to florida, if I had to spend money on airfare with no guarantee that I'd get my money back, it would not be worth it...
so here I am not knowing what to do... amazingly, she is still my myspace friend, she hasn't deleted me...
real nice huh?

tell all your myspace friends to forward the bulletin and spread the word of mouth also, not to trust her if anyone has her on their friends list, she swindled me.
